August Currently...Currently, I'm a little Sad...

I'm linking up again with Farley for this month's CURRENTLY.

I have such a heavy heart today, and you'll see why in my currently picture. Prayers are welcome!

I cried myself to sleep last night, not because this friend was a super close friend, but because I am just hurting for her family. I remember every time I was around her she made me smile. She was an amazing person that has been called home way earlier than any of us were expecting....

Again, prayers for her family are APPRECIATED!

Ok, onto a lighter subject:

My Back to School MUST HAVES>>>>>>

Making Words Weekly!  This is going to be part of my "brainwork" each week. Students of ALL levels can benefit from this type of activity and it will allow each level of student to show me their individual skills!

Minute Math Fluency for CC Kimberly did an awesome job of creating this packet of assessments and also a tracking tool. I'm downloading this for myself VERY SOON to use with my math class!

And, lastly: STARBUCKS refresh tea....because, #1 it tastes.....well....REFRESHING....and #2 the more tea I drink, the less soda I'll drink!

Now, be sure to go link up so I can see what you're up to! Don't forget to look at the rules on Farley's page! :)

  3. I will keep your friend's family in my prayers, as well. I think it hits a little too close to home when it is someone close to our age. We have children, family of our own...it just brings a sense of mortality that we find uncomfortable. And the fact that she was so loved and was such a good person...to have been taken so young just doesn't make sense to us. I will also pray for your heart to be lightened:)

  12. So sorry about your friend Marie! I will deff. say some comforting prayers for her family tonight. Also, I hope you start feeling better from your cold very soon. Summer colds bug me even more than winter colds because you don't feel like you should have every caught it in the first place.
